Modernization, Security & Cost Intelligence (AI)
Real-time cloud spend monitoring with automated savings recommendations.
Modernization, Security & Cost Intelligence (AI)
Monitor usage and costs in real time across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Identify waste, automate savings recommendations, and enforce governed cost controls with approval workflows.
What it monitors
- Compute — idle EC2/VMs, oversized instances, Spot opportunity identification
- Storage — unused EBS volumes, old snapshots, S3 intelligent tiering opportunities
- Databases — idle RDS instances, oversized Multi-AZ deployments
- Networking — unused Elastic IPs, idle NAT Gateways, data transfer costs
- Reservations — RI/Savings Plan coverage gaps and expiry alerts
- Licenses — BYOL vs. license-included cost comparison
Savings recommendations
Recommendations are ranked by monthly savings potential and include:
| Recommendation type | Example |
|---|---|
| Right-sizing | Downsize m5.4xlarge → m5.2xlarge (same workload, 50% cheaper) |
| Idle resource termination | 14 EC2 instances with <2% CPU for 30+ days |
| Reservation purchase | 12-month RI for baseline RDS usage saves $1,840/mo |
| Storage tier change | Move 4.2 TB S3 data to Intelligent-Tiering saves $310/mo |
| Spot migration | Migrate dev/test fleet to Spot saves $2,100/mo |
Approval workflows
Recommendations require approval before action:
- QuickCloud surfaces the recommendation with a projected savings and risk score
- Your team reviews and approves or dismisses
- Approved actions are executed automatically and logged
- A post-action report confirms actual vs. projected savings
Approval can be configured per team, per recommendation type, or per savings threshold.
Budgets and alerts
Set budgets at any level — account, team, project tag, or service — and receive alerts when spend approaches or exceeds thresholds. Alert destinations: email, Slack, PagerDuty.
Tagging enforcement
Untagged resources are flagged and can be auto-tagged or blocked from creation via policy. Required tags are configurable (e.g. env, team, cost-center).
